Aine O’Neill graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1995 before completing the American Board exams and moving to the United States, where she trained and practised in Vestibular Rehabilitation for two years. Returning to Ireland in 1999, Áine introduced Vestibular Therapy to the country — establishing herself as a pioneer in the field.

In 2005, she founded Sandycove Physiotherapy, driven by a vision to combine clinical excellence with a serene, luxurious environment where patients can truly heal. Working closely with Professor Niall Tubridy, Áine continued to advance vestibular practice in Ireland while mentoring a dedicated team who share her philosophy of care.

With almost 30 years of clinical experience, Áine is celebrated for her hands-on approach to manual therapy and her belief that education is key to recovery. She ensures every patient understands their condition — empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

A personal injury early in her career deepened Áine’s empathy and shaped her clinic’s ethos: providing swift, effective, and compassionate care. Her passion for promoting rapid recovery in a beautiful, calming setting is evident in every aspect of the clinic’s design and in the warmth of her team.

Today, Áine’s role focuses on training and supporting her team, ensuring every therapist is highly skilled, up to date, and dedicated to delivering the exceptional standard of care that defines Sandycove Physiotherapy. Under her guidance, the clinic has become a trusted oasis of expertise and calm — where science, empathy, and excellence meet to restore movement, confidence, and wellbeing.
